From Nanjing

Nordic for me is not a strange place, countless business trips, but did not have a chance to have fun. At the beginning of June, I decided to take a few days' annual leave and make a special trip to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Without complicated business problems and tight schedule, I planned to take a leisurely walk. From Nanjing to Stockholm, you can take Air China and transfer in Beijing. Or choose Lufthansa and transfer at Frankfurt. As a member of Air China bosom friend card, it's natural to choose Air China. Points for mileage is a good thing for travel talent! The flight distance from Beijing to Stockholm is about 6700 km, taking about 9 hours and 40 minutes. The difference between Swedish time and Chinese time is seven hours, and summer time is six hours. Taking into account the time difference, the departure time from Beijing to Stockholm is 5 p.m. on the same day, and the return time from Stockholm to Beijing is 9 a.m. on the next day. It is suggested to adjust the time before boarding the plane. You can watch the entertainment programs on the way and try not to sleep. When you come back, you can go to bed after boarding the plane. Anyway, it's hard to get jet lag when traveling abroad.

Stay in mobile Valley Kista

After more than ten hours of flight, the plane landed smoothly. Aranda airport, the capital of Sweden, is located in the northern suburb of Stockholm. It is a 30 minute drive from the airport to the downtown area of Stockholm. There is a new development zone - Kista Science Park. It is the second largest science and Technology Park in the world, second only to Silicon Valley in the United States, and known as "Europe's mobile Valley". There are many large multinational Telecom and software companies in the park. With China's increasing attention to the cultivation of Communication Talents in recent years, many Chinese people live and work here. For Chinese tourists, the cost performance of accommodation here is also very high.

The most famous hotels of Kista are stayat and memory: stayat is a hotel style apartment with a kitchen and the price is around 800 kroner; Memory is a normal hotel. In recent years, it has launched some hotel apartments, but the price is slightly higher than stayat. In addition, stayat is connected with Galleria, a famous shopping mall in Stockholm. You can pass through the mall when you go in and out. It's good for sister paper who loves shopping. Personally, I still recommend stayat.

This is a room with one living room in stayat in 2010. Although sparrow is small, it has all five internal organs.

Focus on IKEA style - clean, simple, comfortable. This is the bedroom. Next to the bathroom. Direct drinking water in Europe is limited to cold water, and hot water in bathrooms is not allowed. So many foreigners are looking after their homes in China. It's hard for us to understand hot water. In their mind, hot water is used for bathing.

All the children in the north are familiar with this equipment - heating in winter. Located in the high latitudes of the northern hemisphere, Sweden has only a short summer. In the long winter, heating equipment is very important. Sweden's sunshine time is only 1800 hours a year, so the Swedes invented matches and loved all kinds of candles and lights.

Kista is also a famous science city, with the famous Information Technology University and the sub campus of Royal Swedish science and technology. The science tower has been the tallest building in Sweden since 2003.

There are many companies in Kista Academy of Sciences, whose R & D focus on telecommunications, wireless, microelectronics and software. Many large multinational companies have also set up R & D centers or production bases here.

Sweden is a feminist country, and women have a very high status. Swedes love to do physical exercise in nature. Both old women and little girls are good athletes. The results of Swedish women's football are also very few in the world.

Sweden's concern for human nature goes beyond the general European and American countries, and has taken in many immigrants from the third world countries and refugees from war-torn countries. In Kista, children of all colors can be seen playing together.

The four Nordic countries (Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway) have beautiful environment and fresh air. They are called "the back garden of Europe" by Europeans. The scenery of Kista Science Park is also very beautiful. Just in the early summer, Kista is full of wild flowers.

There are few cleaners in Stockholm, and such a common path is always clean.

The new student apartment looks a bit like our temporary public housing, but it is also designed in IKEA style, warm in winter and cool in summer. It's like a plain Swede.

National Day in sking

Due to the abundant time schedule, I took a day off to adjust the time difference after arriving at Kista. The third day is June 6. Stockholm, as the capital of Sweden, is bound to have celebrations. Going to Stockholm for National Day is one of the plans of this trip. Stockholm is located on the east coast of Sweden, bordering on the Baltic Sea and the entrance of Lake Melan. It is the city with the largest number of islands in northern Europe. These islands are connected by large and small bridges, enjoying the reputation of "Venice in the north". It has been the political and cultural center of Sweden since the 13th century. The Chinese in Sweden also call it "sking". Skein is also the hometown of Nobel Prize. On December 10 every year, Nobel Prize winners from all over the world gather in Stockholm concert hall to receive awards. It has not only beautiful scenery, but also profound technology and culture. In addition, among the non English speaking countries in the world, Swedes have the best English. So there is no language barrier in Sweden. This makes it a world famous tourist attraction.

Different from China, among the many traditional festivals in Sweden, the National Day is actually not so valued in Sweden. Most Swedes simply enjoy a day off and don't think too much about the history behind the national day. Compared with our national day ceremony, the performance of the small band in front of the Nobel Memorial Hall is more like a grand party in a prosperous town.

At the gate of the palace stood the royal guards, quietly accepting people's frequent photos.

The capital's National Day is a natural part of the parade, handsome cavalry dressed in blue and white uniforms, riding tall horses, strutting through the palace. Sweden declared neutrality in the two world wars, and foreign invasion was rare in history. Most of the significance of the existence of the Royal Swedish army was celebrations and processions.

The parade dispersed after a week's detour around the square in front of the palace.

The tributaries of Lake meraren flow in front of the palace like a natural moat.

The Royal Palace of Sweden (Kungliga Slottet), built in the 17th century, is a small square castle. It took more than 60 years and the painstaking efforts of three generations of architects to complete it in 1754. The lion in the crown is the symbol of the palace.

Due to its moderate geographical location, mild climate and beautiful environment, Stockholm was designated as the capital in 1436, and gradually developed into the largest city in Scandinavia. Swedish palace, Royal Opera House, Royal Theatre, parliament building and city hall are all gathered here.

The Royal Palace is the place where the king of Sweden works and holds celebrations. There is a large courtyard in the middle. The building is built around the courtyard, with a total of 608 rooms, four more than Buckingham Palace in England. Today, the Swedish Royal family does not live here, but in the suburbs of Queen's Island. The king drives to the palace to work every day.

Many of the halls of the palace were turned into museums, open to the public. On the day of national day, a free visit to the palace is an important activity.

In the magnificent hall of the palace, there are large portraits of the kings and queens of the past dynasties on the walls, and the dome is decorated with magnetic burial, carving and gorgeous paintings.

Sweden has friendly relations with almost all countries in the world. The daily work of the king of Sweden is to meet heads of state in this luxurious reception hall.

After the National Day celebration, the square in front of the Nobel Memorial Hall was restored to its former tranquility, with tourists and citizens sitting leisurely on benches. If it wasn't for the National Day holiday, this scene of a sea of people is very rare on weekdays. Sweden has a population of about 10 million, which is not as large as Nanjing. Even in the capital, there is a clear sense of sparsity.

All kinds of locks were hung on the bridge post. The beautiful and clean sky makes people reluctant to leave. Let's lock our heart here.

Stockholm has both elegant and antique features and the prosperity of a modern city. The old town of Gamla Stan, which is rich in antique flavor and eroticism, is a place for tourists. Here you can really feel the elegant demeanour of the world in this small Nordic city.

The Swedish people celebrate the national day with Nordic style performances.

The streets and alleys in the old city are paved with stones, and the long alleys lead to the beautiful lake meraren.

Walking along the old path of the old city, you will arrive at the Bank of Lake meraren unconsciously. Here is the entrance of Lake melalun. The water of the lake is connected with the sea. The clear air makes the clouds in the sky look very low, as if you can reach them. The colorful houses along the coast are like a fairy tale kingdom. Overlooking the lake, blue sky, blue sea, white clouds, seagulls... Like a fairy tale kingdom.

The South Island near the center of Stockholm is an elegant and quiet residential area near the lake. This is said to be the back garden of a nursing home. The front of the house faces the sea. Sweden's welfare ranks first in the world, and most Swedes choose to live in nursing homes after retirement. Seeing such a nursing home, it is not difficult to understand why so many Swedes want to retire early.

Green trees and green grass. The long stone road leads to the distance, and the benches beside the road can be used for passers-by to stop and rest occasionally.

In early summer, the grass is green and wild flowers are everywhere.

Sweden is a sports loving people, warm summer, in a huge rock on the beach, young girls and boys are climbing.

Outside the red walls of several four or five storey buildings, there are luxuriant Parthenocissus, and simple tables and chairs on the open balcony. That's true for every household. Imagine a warm summer afternoon, sitting on the balcony with my family, blowing the sea breeze, listening to music, drinking tea and chatting... Life is not elsewhere, it's here.

TIPS:

Transportation: the subway station in the center of Stockholm is called t-centre, where almost all transportation lines transfer. There is a direct subway from Kista to t-centre. The subway map is attached in the following article. You can also get the free subway map in the supermarket or hotel.

Catering: there are a lot of delicious food in the center of Stockholm. The nearest to the city hall is the Western restaurants around the old city square. A little further away, you can go to Queen's road. The main kinds are salad, steak, fish steak, hamburger and pizza. 250 per capita.

Shopping: you can buy Swedish handicrafts and souvenirs in the old city, and the price is almost the same as outside. The price of Dala Trojan horse, a famous tourist souvenir in Sweden, is absolutely unified across the country. To give you a reference, medium-sized more than 200 kroner. NK, a famous luxury shopping mall on Queen's road, can buy clothes and cosmetics of international brands. It is slightly higher than that in China, and slightly lower than that in China after tax rebate.

Weekend in vaxholm

Vaxholm was chosen because a colleague of the same trade searched the top 10 travel destinations on an Internet in Sweden, and vaxholm ranked second. As for the first one, let's sell it first. It will be mentioned later.

The suffix "- Holm" in Swedish has a similar meaning to "town" in English. Many famous places in Sweden have this suffix. For example, Stockholm, of course, should be regarded as a super town. If Stockholm is compared to a big park, then vaxholm town is like a very emotional rural backyard, quiet and simple.

There are about 4900 settled residents in the town, with vaxholm castle as the center, which is composed of several small islands. Ships are the main means of transportation between and outside the islands. The castle is located on an isolated island in the east of the town. It was built in 1544 to prevent foreign enemies from invading Stockholm.

Most of the villas in the small town are built along the sea. It is said that there is a yacht for every six people in Sweden. Compared with the car buying craze in China, Swedes are more keen on owning a private yacht. The yachts on the wharf of vaxholm are parked orderly.

The villa built by the sea is the dream home of girls.

A typical seaside villa. Red and white color with blue sea, blue sky, white clouds, as if in paradise.

Swedes are the most home-based and nature loving people. When you enter any Swedish home, even simple furniture will make you feel extremely relaxed and comfortable. It's like IKEA as we know it( The blogger will take photos. Please pat carefully.)

Swedish love for home is reflected in all kinds of details, they will build a house, paint, repair the yard, every place is extremely attentive.

A simple country road leads straight to the seaside. Walking and chatting with my family in the afternoon is the most romantic thing I can think of.

The residents of the town built a rest area by the sea. The family enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and gentle sea breeze.

In the afternoon, the sun becomes gentle and quiet. Sitting outside a western restaurant in vaxholm square, you can order a plate of Caesar salad and coffee with the sea breeze. From the bottom of my heart, the Swedish salad is very suitable for Chinese people.

On the return journey, choose to experience vaxholm by boat.

On the way, I met silja, a passenger ship operating between Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Latvian. At the same time, there is another cruise ship called Viking. If you want to travel to northern Europe, don't miss the cruise. Insert an advertisement: if you want to see it, you can refer to my other travel notes

There is a lot of space on the return ship. It's very comfortable to sit. It can accommodate about 100 people. If the weather is fine, you can sit on the deck. The weather is changeable in June in sking. It's fine before boarding, but it's cloudy when it's on board.

Sking is known as "Venice of the north", enjoying the beautiful island on his way back.

And the fairy tale City coastline.

The city hall that sking is proud of. Swedes regard Stockholm City Hall as their pride, because it is not only the landmark of this country and even the whole northern Europe, but also the place where the Nobel dinner is held every year. Strangely enough, the Swedes have never published a photo album about Stockholm's city hall. When asked why, the Swedes replied that they were too familiar with the city hall.

Swedish with a childlike heart.

Children all over the world love Ferris wheel, crazy people all over the world love roller coaster.

The ship will arrive at the central port of Stockholm in about half an hour.

Look at sking from another angle.

TIPS:

Transportation: you can take bus from Kista to vaxholm (670 to the end), and you can use SJ bus card.

From Stockholm, you can get there by bus or by boat. You can use SJ bus card for bus. You need to buy another ticket for boat ticket, 80 for boat ticket.

Catering: there are many small Western restaurants in vaxholm square, providing steak, lamb chops, salad, pizza and coffee.

150 per capita

Sigatuna, a dream home by lake Mellon

The decision to go to sigatuna is a colleague mentioned earlier who searched the top 10 scenic spots on the Internet, and sigatuna ranked first. It is known as the oldest town in Sweden. It is the place where the first king of Sweden was appointed to be crowned and the first capital of Sweden.

When you get off at sigtuna station by bus, the first thing you see is the cemetery of sigtuna. It's said that it's unlucky to take photos. There's no PP here.

After walking for several hundred meters, it is the town hall of the old capital city, which is also the smallest one in Sweden, like a church in a small village. Now, as a Historical Museum of sigatuna, you can buy many souvenirs of small towns, such as the first generation coins of Sweden.

The town of sigatuna is well equipped with city hall, church, school, hotel and cemetery. Most of the houses in the town are villas. Because it is adjacent to the famous lake meraren, it is also a well-known rich area for Swedes. I heard that the former CEO of our company lived in the largest and most luxurious house in the town, so he was looking for the biggest house. Is it because of this huge courtyard and lush vegetation, the main silver is a good local tyrant

Flocks of wild ducks by lake Melan.

On the sunny shores of Lake Melan.

Blue sky, white clouds, green grass, red tiles, clean town.

Swedish people's love for nature is astonishing. I once asked a Swedish colleague what kind of leisure way he likes best. He said that when the sun is shining, the family spread a picnic mat to bask in the sun.

Some people say that the national flag is the most simple love for the country, and I think it is the pride of the citizens of this country from the bottom of their hearts. The social welfare of the four Nordic countries ranks first in the world, and the national happiness index also ranks first. Only in this way can people be more creative and enjoy life. Therefore, Sweden has the largest number of high-tech companies in the world in terms of population. It is the hometown of Nobel Prize, the cradle of communication industry and the birthplace of quality life. The Swedes invented the lock, Tetra Pak, and the first generation of communication equipment

The harmonious coexistence of human and nature.

Judging from the number of yachts, sigatuna is indeed a rare affluent town.

A small library, or a small book booth. Free borrowing and voluntary return. It can hold about one and a half people. There are various magazines and books, mostly in Swedish and a few in English. Sweden is the best English speaking non English speaking country in the world. All the old and children can understand English and communicate fluently. Compared with focusing on domestic events, Swedes also pay more attention to foreign events. Don't be surprised that an old woman in Sweden also knows more or less about the ancient oriental countries, but they will ask you first: are you Japanese?

TIPS:

Transportation: take bus from Kista and Stockholm to sigtuna directly, and transfer to small train in the middle. SJ bus card can be used.

Catering: there are many Western restaurants and cafes in the town, as well as small restaurants in Homemate. The average person in the western restaurant is 150, while the Homemate restaurant is not available.

Shopping: many people sell special crafts along the street. There are ICA supermarkets, Ecco stores, discount stores and special candy stores at the intersection.

Watching rainbow after rain in Kista

Living in Kista for a few days, you can often see the rainbow after the rain. The science tower not far away is particularly magnificent under the rainbow.

When I was a child, I often thought, where is the end of the rainbow?

On the other side of the sky, a few hot-air balloons slowly rose, wandering in the clouds.

As night fell, the rainbow and hot air balloon faded away, but the sky seemed not quiet. At this time, it's summer in Sweden, and the daytime is relatively long. In a few days, there will be extreme daylight. People on the ground are going to sleep. Good night, sking. Good night, Sweden.

Tips for a trip to sking

Transportation:

From Beijing to Stockholm, there are three airlines to choose from: Air China, Lufthansa and Finnish airlines. Among them, Air China is the most convenient. It can fly directly from Beijing. The punctuality rate is relatively high, and it can get points. The points of a round trip can be exchanged for a domestic ticket of about 1000. Lufthansa is the most comfortable, but it needs to transfer in Germany. Finnish Airlines has never been there. It seems that they also need to transfer, but the price is cheaper. Generally speaking, half a month in advance, Air China's return ticket price including tax is about 8000. Catch up with the off-season, the cheapest 5000 can be set.

Because the Swedish time is 6 / 7 hours later than Beijing time, the past flights arrived the same day, and the return flights arrived the next day.

The single ticket price of Stockholm Metro is very expensive, which costs 60 kronor. You can buy three-day tickets, one week tickets, two weeks tickets and one month tickets at the airport information desk and supermarket. The weekly ticket is 600 kroner, regardless of the number of uses. Public transport with Sj logo can be used, most buses, subways and small trains can. The Arlanda Airport Express is not available. You need to buy a separate ticket.

Stockholm metro line is divided into three types: red, blue and green line. Airport service desk and hotel service desk generally provide subway map.

Skying's taxis are priced by location, not by odometer, as in China. For example, from Arlanda airport to Kista is a fixed 375 kroner. However, different models have different prices.

Sweden's car rental service is also very common, but I haven't rented it, because I'm worried about traffic violations. I can't figure it out. It is said that the former colleague was wanted by the credit card bank for not paying the parking fee.... Therefore, rent a car with caution.

Climate and time difference:

Sweden has a long winter, so the best tourist season is from June to August, and the temperature is lower in other times. And night is longer than day. There is a traditional Swedish Festival Midsummer Festival in July, which is very lively.

The time difference between Sweden and Beijing is 7 hours (7 hours in the evening). The daylight saving time starts in the middle of July every year, and the time difference is changed to 6 hours.

Exchange rate and cash exchange: Sweden's currency in circulation is the Swedish krona, and large shopping malls also accept the euro and the US dollar. The exchange rate of SEK and RMB is basically the same, a little lower than RMB. Most of Stockholm can swipe cards, including small restaurants. Cash can be exchanged at airport and bank (SEB). RMB can be directly converted into SEK.

Diet: traditional Swedish food is potatoes and meatballs, which are available in most restaurants. Next came steaks, fish chops and salads. There is no KFC, but there is McDonald's, but if you want to eat hamburger, it is recommended to go to Burger King. The places where food is concentrated are ranked from low to high according to the price and grade: Food Court of Kista Galleria, Queen Street in the center of the city and the old city. Several popular foods in Sweden: coffee, beer, chocolate, cake, candy.

Shopping: Kista Galleria is a low-cost shopping mall, which can buy H & M, only and other low-end brands. NK in the center of the city is a luxury shopping mall. Channel and LV can be bought. The price is slightly higher than that in China. After tax rebate, it is still more cost-effective than that in China. You can buy some souvenirs in the old city. The price is not cheap, but the quality and workmanship are very good. In addition, you can also consider going to outlet to buy some off-season or second-class brands, which is about 60% of the normal price. The most famous brand in Sweden is Ecco shoes, which is much cheaper than that in China. The price of regular goods is about 60% of that in China.
